    His mom once gave me complicated, multi step directions on how to properly wake him up. How about no Grinch? Nobody has the time to wake a grown man up with multiple steps over an hour- do I look like that's my idea of fun? She finds it upsetting I won't do it her way. She tells me often. I laugh.

    AN HOUR TO WAKE UP?

    I used to be so annoyed that my husband would be awake before his alarm went off and got straight out of bed. However, I'll take that any day than having to deal with the hassle of someone expecting me to wake them up lol.

    I'm the only morning person in my house. Well. Not sure about the new baby yet.... But my wife is non-verbal for at least 30 minutes after waking and my 2 year old is like a teenager. I go in and tell her cheerfully "Good morning!" and she just glares at me and says "I go sleep, daddy"

    Mine was the same when she was 2. Now she's 6 and awake at 5:30 am with her daddy every day before he leaves for work, and then comes into bed with me and watches her iPad until I'm ready to get up.
