I hope your snow days end soon! I was surprised they sent them today. It's 9 degrees outside. Last time it was that cold they canceled.

 

Oh no, it's real, Matt had the expectation I would wake him up like his mother did when we started dating. He says I'm the only woman who has ever said no to him (basically) and his Mom claims I'm not ready for marriage because I won't jump through insane hoops like that.

He was spoiled dude.

When I told him that when I was a kid, I woke myself up cause I was always home alone, and otherwise I just wouldn't have made it to school. He told me it wasn't his fault that his Mom loved him and my parents didn't like me.

His mom literally once came over AND WASHED HIS UNDERTHINGS. I walked in my living room, and she is sitting there, folding his boxers. I think I almost died. I had no sane reaction to that, and asked him why in the fuck his mom was sitting there, folding his damn undies. She dumped my laundry on the floor too, of course.

 

I'm hoping that they will get to go back tomorrow. I don't care if it's just for 1 day, I need some quiet time! It's supposed to get up to about 40 as the day goes on so there's a chance that it will be enough to melt all the ice, I guess.
