    Nope.. Just nope. If its a skilled painting or sculpture. Sure, I'll call that art because very few can do it well. But when its littarly food flung at a canvas or a pile of stuff just stuck together.

    I mean I'll fully admit that part of what makes modern art and contemporary art (those are two different things) hard to appreciate is that it requires a decent amount of understanding of art theory and language. However, Felix Gonzalez-Torres' Untitled (Portrait of Ross in LA) is also the first artwork that ever brought me to tears, and it's literally a pile of candy.
