Without looking up the details of that exact painting (i mean. it's almost definitely a Newman zip, i don't need to look anything up for that) imma guess a huge chunk of the value is "the artist is now dead" and iirc "the artist was influential in his movement" (and even if i'm remembering wrong and Newman wasn't influential in life... neither was Van Gogh, who was in "couldn't give his art away" territory while alive).

Pretty much any "dead influential person had contact with this" thing sells for a lot regardless of who the person was or what the thing is, art collectors aren't immune to it.

Pros:
These pretty much permanently trickle in 24 hours a day so they're great for testing scripts or building numbers. The approval time is incredibly low (like an hour max, usually instant so long as you're correct) and as long as you actually look at the receipt & do the work you'll never have a problem with rejections or blocks from the Requester.

In the past when I've tested it (back when MyLikes was around, so mid-year 2017) you could pretty consistently catch around 50 per hour running 2-3 other PandAs. So they will NEVER make you rich, but with a key-bind script they generally take no more than 2-4 seconds a piece.

They're one of those HITs that provide some utility value to the community since they approve quickly, aren't a massive time sink, and are pretty much always available at any point in the day.
Cons:
Some of them are mysteriously placed behind the requester's private qualification. I've tried messaging them before for it and never heard back, but others have claimed success with that method so who knows.

As far as I know, their regular receipt transcription HITs are as poorly paid as the rest on the platform. These are just a niche decent #s HIT.
