I love google maps. I would die without it.

I literally have no idea how people used to navigate. When I first started driving I had a gps thingie in my car and now I have the phone. Yesterday Erica was a little inebriated so I had to drive us (she typically always drives) and I had no idea how to get to the corner store we get our crap from via the route she always takes. There were some uturns and much Grinching.

TL;DR: I need an adult to get anywhere if it's not home -> to work and work -> home

 

The message still goes through, IIRC, its just a visual bug b/c some of the data fields are missing & mTurk doesn't know how to process it.

Ehhhh.. That seems like terrible behavior and prone to confusion. I can't think of a single button on the Internet that does this & makes sense in this context. I expect people to be flying through reviews fairly quickly per ratings, a mistake should slow you down and make you think - not be totally unnoticeable (which a mistaken double click would be).

Server wasn't, I always forget that step lol. Fixed.

 

I don't navigate by street name or landmark, I just know where everything exists in space at all times.

 

Matt literally looks at the map and then just drives there.

I don't even comprehend.

Of course, sometimes he can't find a tricky road and I laugh smugly while I pull out my google maps.

I did search and rescue stuff, and we had to navigate as part of it, and tbh my service dog was like, "Grinch! WE GO DIS WAY! How do you not know where you are going?!" Kudos to that dog, he had stronger nav skills than I ever will. I think thats why he was an SAR dog LOL.
