I tried to make it even easier to remember the @require URL by running it through bit.ly with a custom name (i.e., @require bit.ly/PandaCrazyLibrary) , but GreasyFork has a whitelist of @require URL patterns and will block your script upload if it doesn't match that whitelist.

Yeah, I'm using an actual code editor. Er. I mean, I am using edit.exe from dos 6 so that is to blame and not my incompetence.

what kind of device does this have to be taken on? I tried on my computer and iphone and it says I'm on the wrong device. There are no instructions saying what to use.

Using Brackets currently, tries VS Code but was unhappy with some of it's interface oddities.

Please stop posting this kinda stuff here. Its been like non stop today, and I really don't care what you do in your personal workflow but it looks like you're doing the most half-assed job you can on the premise that someone isn't paying you enough.

Again, I don't give a crap, I just don't want it here since Requesters do drop in & see this kinda thing.

hey all- hope you're having a good day.

Still having problems with Firefox- it is just a resource hog and I read somewhere that the more power your computer has, the more Firefox uses...idk, but I can have have the same 3 tabs open and FF is at 1,000,000+kb and over time (hours) it keeps increasing until it gets upward of 4,000,000+ and I get the message that my computer is low on memory and I need to close programs. I can run PC, mTurk, TH on FF and mTurk, MTS Hit Finder and maybe 1 or 2 other windows in Chrome and that is it- I have 8 gigs of ram. Never had this problem before the new FF- I am rolled back to 56, too. But I can't run OW or Hit Forker or anything else.

So, wasn't someone saying Vivaldi worked okay with scripts and uses less resource? Is that a good browser to try instead of Firefox?

You can tell the requester isn't super familiar with the platform, because they ask you how long the average "Mechanical Turk" takes you and how much the average task you do is worth (per task, not hourly).

Vivaldi works fine, it uses the chrome store for extensions and I never had issue with any scripts when I used it. I went back to regular chrome for mturk a while back though so I havent tried it recently.

I have done tens of thousands of surveys and you generally at the least have some idea of what they are doing, or they tell you in the beginning or just guess, but no idea is stupid imo. I usually start out with something like I am not sure but maybe... if I have no clue. But, I think the point Chris was making is that repeatedly ridiculing studies is rude and not something we or Requesters want to read.
