I used to make $800/day on mturk until I came here. Now all I do is waste my time posting dumb GIFs.

You've been feeding me hundreds of dollars... which will then cut into my welfare check and force me to go out and find work... camraderie be damned.

 

You will continue to have absentminded moments like this as long as you write code.

Usually, it happens when you're thinking in the bigger picture of how you're going to divide and conquer a problem, so you're not really paying attention to the details of what you're writing.

For example, I absentmindedly wrote

instead of

e.target.style.display.includes("none")

in some Javascript earlier today.

I'm still a baby, but the other day I had this and couldn't figure out why the hell it wasn't working

I'm assuming that's going to happen a lot(I just had my second class period for the class and I'm working ahead). For now I'm just taking "code listings" in my textbook and then typing them out in eclipse and clicking run to make sure I get the same result as the textbook. I can't wait until I've got enough down to actually start making my own stuff.

What's your next plan to mold my personality? Gonna hit my kids with a car again? How you gonna get that news to me? Or is jail or homelessness? What exact thing are you gonna do to convince people to make the Courts or any system not work for me? Huh?
