    @ChrisTurk Update on UpWork:

    I've been receiving a solid number of unsolicited job offers, so maybe the site is worth the huge 20% finder's fee that it eats from the client's payment.

    I actually had one that was looking for help with mTurk requester stuff, but I told him that I haven't worked on that end before and directed him to the subreddit (worker posts there are usually pretty dumb, but requester questions usually get answered pretty well between you + the mods + a couple of other users). I probably could've accepted it and used it as an opportunity to learn, but the payment offered would've only been worth it if I'd already known what I was doing.

    This one made me laugh though. Dunno whether or not to accept it. It's shady as shit and 99.99% likely to be impossible, but $200 is $200:

    When Requesters post to the subreddit there are a solid 3-4 people who privately solicit them every time to do the gay "only give private quals to MY people" thing.

    If the Jags win, then the Super Bowl will be between two teams who have never won a Super Bowl in the 51 years that it has existed.
