Writing section, so time may vary. English also does not seem to be the HIT writer's first language, which makes me nervous that I could have misunderstood an instruction or two. Pay should be higher for the time it takes and the amount of effort involved.

They put out what I thought was a new one with higher pay rate. I took it thinking maybe it had more content. Nope.

 

That is actually a very insightful comment. I apprentice it.

I'll keep that in mind. I tend to fall into a teaching roll/mentality in most of the places I work because I usually have a higher level of understanding than most people. Mostly because I work my ass off to be the best at whatever I'm doing at the moment. But I also know when to shut up and listen. In this case, here on Mturk. I know jack shit.

I wonder is these Chasteen Lab HITS are for the broken HIT the other day. I messaged them and got a response a day later saying they were working with Amazon on the issue.

 

A second after the sounding of a bell, a horse receives an electric shock through a plate on the ground.

This process repeats until the horse has learned to raise its hoof to avoid receiving the shock.

After a while, the shock is no longer delivered, but the horse is none the wiser.
It thinks that raising its hoof is necessary to avoid a shock, and does so every time the bell rings.

That action that the horse takes to avoid the shock prevents the horse from ever learning that this action is no longer necessary.
