So, you were one of those middle school aged boys on the Reddit website I’ve been warned of.

 

Propaganda companies pay pretty good for accounts that are mods of popular subs.

 

Yeah, they don't really care too much about fake accounts.

If you're going to put forth effort to break the system, they'll let you in without hiring a forensic investigator or running a background check.

They just don't want the platform overloaded with bots, and they want to appear to advertisers that they're making an effort to serve ads to real people in a target demographic.

Even regular accounts that just have a decent amount of karma/history are ridiculous. It was like $100 for a crappy 6-mo old account with barely enough karma to shill my dietary supplement dog chew toys last time I looked.
