A bunch of people on (name deleted) are claiming an involved screener that only a very limited number will pass. Overall feeling seems to be "waste of time".

I'll have very little money coming in until these batches start approving. I'm not too scared, though, because the requester has always approved all of my work -- sometimes it takes a few days, sometimes a week. Still, though, I am a little bit on edge, because I've heard stories of good requesters doing mass rejections.

If I were a requester, I'd feel obligated to approve all previous batches before posting more batches. It just seems like the appropriate thing to do.

Trying to change the mood in here.

 

I am not offended. I had a "real job" for 5 years -- and dreaded going there every day. My workplace closed down in July so I started turking full-time. At this point in my life, as long as mturk pays me enough to survive, I'll stick with it. If somebody offered me a job which paid me 10x the amount of money that I make on here, I still would not do it.

 

If I could rely on this sort of work, with the certainty and benefits I get from my real job I'd switch in a heartbeat. Alas, got too many adult reasons not to risk it

*snaps fingers*

 

Hey, no mention of adulting today I did that all last week.

 

Well, that would only be $300 for me, so I'd have to pass. My weekly bar tab would wipe that out.

 

I used to really like them but stay away from most of their music nowadays -- due to the "dark" elements in their music. But I don't throw the baby out with the bathwater -- some of the songs on Divine Intervention I feel comfortable listening to nowadays.
