    lol okay, I then suggest buying a slingbox, fly to Japan and pay someone to let you set it up in their house so you can watch anime live via over the air antenna when it airs in Japan.

    Actually double checking the rules I don't see anything against discussing piracy written out.... It just feels weird.

    Also If you for some reason want to do that weird setup that isn't realistic it would be better to use homerun or something and get the .ts files for the shows. It wouldn't work very well though unless you know Japanese :ap:

    Yeah they are called horrible subs for a reason =p


    If I knew Japanese I prob would either find a way to pay for Japanese televison, capture my own raws, or just download raws.

    You're pretty lucky you missed out on the "im an OTAKU ^___^" subculture of the 90's. Wish I could say the same. :lol:

    I know Time Warner offers like 4 or 5 jp channels for $45 or something insane like that. :nono:

    AdultNetHITs, porn categorization/labelling req. I believe they were booted off MTurk after being around for years? I could be wrong about why they left

    There are ways to get Japanese TV in the states if you're willing to go that route. If you go with a paid service that streams the channels online doubt it would be good enough to capture raws in anything higher than 720p :emoji_frowning2:. Maybe p2p or acestream might have a better quality stream, but I've yet to find working links.

    That has to do with the fact that I didn't start watching anime until semi-recently... I blame Naruto for making me think that all anime was dumb until midway through high school I got into VNs because of katawa shoujo.

    Yeah it would be less of a headache to just download the raws that are super easy to find.

    I registered with them but I never remember to do work because there's only ever 10 minutes of work available at any given time (when I check, at least). I just can't bother for pennies :dunno:

    If you leave it up and have like an auto refresher running they'll have a couple dollars worth a work up a day maybe more, its just impossible for me to do that all day when I'm at starbucks, the library, et cetera so I really can't say for sure

    This isn't true for ANH, the price increase was months before they left. Heck it was before I was even registered on AMT haha. Their account got locked by mTurk at some point and they never got a solid response as to why or if they'd get it back, so they setup their own platform. They posted to all the major platforms at the time about it.



    The post on MTG was less cordial towards their account being locked by mTurk. Definitely seemed like they got booted for too many reports on their HITs.
