    Spent 4 hours setting up a server with QA and automation tools, client decides to inform me at the end of all of that what his actual requirements are and where he needs to connect to, which is impossible using this configuration.

    Hooray I get to do it all again. :banghead:

    Clear requirements > anything.

    P.S. Fuck PCI compliance.

    Customer calls, computer not working. Is it plugged in? Yes, assures me it is. Drive 20 minutes to check system, is NOT plugged in, customer annoyed at having to pay $20 for me coming out to do that.

    P.S. I hate stupid people. Hope you get paid well for the hassle.

    I found the perfect vintage looking rolling kitchen island at one of the antique stores in town and so I pointed it out to Matt. He immediately goes, " I can make you this for like 1/3 of the cost and it will be WAY better, and I can make it that teal color you like so much!"

    I laughed maniacally and he just started cursing. He walked right into that one.

    The key is to use his ego and cheapness against him.
