02/02 - Ferocious Friday!

I gotta remember this lol.

I mean, I thought 150 was going high, I didn't expect people to wanna pay more than 100 for it.

Then I started getting a lot of interest and looked at the prices of those kind of things new, and I think I def messed up since this thing is basically brand new.

 

100% I would be like "Yo whoever wants to pay the most gets it", but the rules explicitly state that you can't do those kind of things, and the bored housewives that run the pages get off on the power trip of banning people for breaking the rules.

Like, chill fam, I just want money.

 

I glance at my pending number and think it's my reject number at least twice a week.

 

Do you have a photo of what it looked like?

 

It isn't the end of the world or anything, i'm just notoriously good at realizing things in hindsight.

I don't even know what we are doing with the money from it. I'm trying to get Chris to let me spend it on decor stuff for the living room because it looks nekkid and it makes me sad.

 

Oh, I just assumed craigslist for some reason mbmb.

 

From my experience - 50% of people on facebook buy/sell pages don't show up. Just a heads up. A lot of people change their minds last minute, or just straight up ignore you after you've already planned to meet up. Annoying

 

It separates out into 3 pieces, and I guess you actually by the frame and the fireplace part it's self separately, which I did not know, so that makes it worth even more all together.

Someday i'll do my research before I try to get rid of things

I always make them meet me somewhere super public like a grocery store parking lot or the mall. :E

Yea, and? Lots of people wanted it, and I like money.

 

Yea, that's what we do when we do Craigslist stuff, but this thing is big and heavy and we have a little car, so that is no bueno for trying to take it anywhere.

 

Hmm.. yeah I guess.. though they're ultimately just as much strangers as some complete rando from a facebook group... I mean really a serial killer would be far better off with a fake facebook since people are naturally more trusting of it than craigslist so.. y'know.. you do you this post wasn't meant to keep you up at night or anything

 

Perks of a small town my dude. Everybody knows everybody. I have like 23+ mutual friends with any person in the groups lol.

For some reason, I've dated a long line of ME's (and grew up with a single dad) so I've ended up paling around with race teams and around airports and whatnot. My ex is a race engineer and I eventually got hooked because race cars are the best. That's how I met matt too! He was doing welding on one of the cars and I was doing the PR stuff. I ditched the ex, but I still drag Matt to races from time to time because I love a good vroom vroom.
