Pros:
Time is based off 2,160 characters for the main portion. The data in this one was way more scientific/fact-specific than normal which slowed down my time considerably trying to grasp it all, normally they run different versions so YMMV.

I too remember that , once accepted and then returned a reasoning project.

 

Spoiler: if this is against the rules a mod can deleted it, it's all in iframe

• Use your PC or Laptop. Do not do this from your smartphone or tablet. It's best on larger screens like a typical monitor on a PC or Laptop.
• You will use your browser (best in Chrome) to launch a test environment/phone simulator ( http://dq-web-test.fuditext.com/testsuite/mturk.html ).
• Go to this link and enter your MTURK ID into the field labeled "Your M-Turk ID:" and click "Get Started"
• In this test, you will be asked to place 4 SEPARATE ORDERS; 1) Order lunch, 2) Order dinner, 3) Order a snack; 4) Order dinner for a group of 3
• You will be taken through a process of first reviewing the DQ menu, then a phone simulator will show up. Just follow the prompts on screen. This is a multi-part task where you will end up creating multiple orders. Should not take too long. Feel free to customize items. For example... I would like a Grill burger with no ketchup and extra mustard.
• When the phone simulator shows up, simply text the word "Hi" to start. (The Menu will re-appear after you send "hi") Type your order and send it . Then follow the prompts on the phone simulator. If you encounter errors, do your best or enter "clear" to start this order over. Get the order as close to correct as you can in a reasonable amount of time - it doesn't have to be perfect.
• You will see the replies you get will show your order or updated order and ask if you are 'done', if so, type 'done' and click send.
• Please use the menus provided. You can point your mouse at the menu images to zoom in. You must do all orders at one time. If you stop in the middle, when you return you will have to start over from the beginning.
• For this Run, we are testing only how well it understands your order requests via text messages. So, after sending "done" and then confirming your order, it will ask when you to "please send the SKIP CODE". You can send the word "TEST" as the SKIP CODE and you will then be asked to do the next order. If it was not correct, send "help" for a list of commands to learn how to remove items. Re-add items if needed after removing and then go through the "done/confirmation" process again. Then confirm and send "TEST". Then you are done.
• Repeat this process until the screen says you are finished and to please fill out the survey form on the MTurk site (below).

Here are a couple example orders (quotes " not necessary). Customize your order like you normally would (i.e. "no onion and extra pickles").

"I would like a double grillburger with no ketchup and extra mustard and a large pepsi and medium fries." or

"flamethrower burger with cheese and a pepsi"

Then follow the prompts.

Then fill out the survey. PLEASE BE HONEST, YOU WILL GET PAID IF WE SEE YOUR ORDER IN OUR SYSTEM NO MATTER YOUR ANSWERS IN THE SURVEY. Thank you.
