I call it the "air can," and he calls it the "flying metal battub." It's a kit plane, but he re-designed a bunch of it and built entirely new parts, so he got a lot of kudos and Phil Lockwood came up to try and poach him to design planes for him. He was on the cover of a few aviation mags and EAA did a spread on him too! I carried around that one for like 3 months minimum and you cannot come into my home without me thrusting it at you. He actually referred to it as a "motorcycle in the sky," which yes he practiced on me. I told him he could not tell CNN (there was an article too) that it was a flying metal bathtub, and he went through like 50 names before he figured that one out. It was great exposure for him, and led to his offers from Scaled and SpaceX on top of some other av companies. I will tell anyone I ever meet this. HAVE YOU SEEN MY FIANCE/BOYFRIEND/DOMESTIC PARTNER? WELL, YOU'RE GOING TO NOW! LOOK AT HIS PRETTY FACE! LOOK AT ITTTT!

I normally brutally mock him and call him "plane jesus," though because everyone sucks up to him so much, I like to make sure his head doesn't get too big to get through the door. People come up to me at av events, and tell me how amazing he is like I don't live with him and help him build planes or anything - I usually respond with something like, "Yeah, but why can't he remember to rinse his plate after dinner? Where's the master class for that?" or "Pssh, he's ok I guess. He's no George Clooney, but he's alright." He thinks it's hysterical, his mother is horrified. I am not a good trophy wife man!
