    I can see mulch or plants being a decent seller if they just had an actual sale at the school. Otherwise give me $1 chocolate bars or I am easily swayed by doughnuts. But I'm not a huge fan of those overpriced girl scout cookies and I'm not touching the overpriced popcorn the boy scouts sell. Also not buying the overpriced wrapping paper and crap that I had to sell in school. Mom usually bought one of whatever the cheapest thing in the catalog was and took the catalog it to work on the off chance someone there would buy something....I never liked asking people to buy that expensive crap they didn't need.

    Same here. I'm going to buy a few things to at least get him a prize. I told him that upfront. I don't like badgering people with the fundraisers either. I'd rather just write the PTA a check.

    Yes. I let them know how long it took and the servers were lagging. I also told them the next button was out and more than a few of my rounds just skipped over.

    My kids are constantly coming home with fundraiser stuff. And the teachers put ideas in their head about the stupid prizes they get if they sell. Um...I have 4 kids in elementary, we won't be selling anything.:afraid:
