So, a guy offering a snow removal service came over.
We paid him half his fee up-front, and he did about 1/4 of the job before having to go back to his house to charge his blower for a couple of hours (seriously).

While he was gone, the original plow guy who failed to show up for the past four days (whom we told not to bother coming out today because we found someone else) showed up and did the rest of the driveway -- and now wants to charge us for it.

I went around with my truck / plow doing it for free around town. There are these sketchy ass people who try to turn it in to some gold rush here. They always tell people $20 depending on the inch amount, then say well since it was close to the next tier, we are going to charge you that instead.

 

Hope you guys like batches, because they're all going to drop as soon as I leave the office in 30 minutes.
