Giving away your time for less than it's worth is robbing yourself. At least that's how I see it. I'd rather get some chores done, play a game, read a book, etc... That stuff is worth more to me than a losing batch.

 

I think there's just more or less an unspoken rule of having some discretion when sharing batches. At a certain point, if you're sharing a lucrative batch with 100+ people, logic says you're taking money out of your pocket and giving it to everyone, which doesn't make a lot of sense if you're turking for an actual income. There's also a thing about exports going to HN, which feeds even more people that we don't know, which sucks a bit more. I never understand the anger about sharing things like PFA though, they're not exactly unknown.

I think that was more about people being jerks to each other, not about sharing work.

I'm pretty sure it's a closed qual batch that is hidden to outsiders...that or it was all a sneaky game.
