I think he only got back with me is because I messaged him telling him that it was underpaid and way too short on time and that he was unlikely to find anyone that could complete it for that rate. I said I'd save the work I'd already done and if he wanted to negotiate a new rate to let me know as I'd be happy to finish it and he did. Of course he hasn't actually paid me anything yet lol. The new hit he made was only for .01 and it hasn't even approved yet. I do think he'll honor it but he's a brand new requester and I think he jumped in without having nearly enough info. If he has a lot of volume of this type of work he could turn out to be a good requester. Did you submit the hit? I just kinda figured he only had one out there, but maybe he had more than the ten companies I worked on.

It will, I'm quietly working on quite a number of Requester based projects, but I'm not nearly experienced enough with every facet of the requester tool set to speak on any individual one with great authority, which is why you keep seeing me drop random projects and stuff from the TurkerHub account (and a few others on the sandbox most folks probably don't notice). But there are usually a minimum of 2 or 3 ways for a requester to do any single thing depending on which part of the platform they're using, each of them generating different outcomes, and there is also room to actually develop real tools for them the same as scripts exist for workers on our end.

But that shits expensive, yo. mTurk fees are seriously lame :emoji_thumbsdown:lol and anything on the sandbox usually doesn't get touched. Its also kind of hard to know which projects to do in which order. I could make a random guide on how to overturn a rejection with X, Y, and Z method but where does that fit into an overall requester toolbox or wiki? Implementing them in an order that makes sense and is most beneficial for both sides isn't exactly easy. I'd actually like to put out a survey for folks to rank their problems with requesters in order of overall occurrence and/or impact but I imagine it'd A) cost a lot to get done well and B) end with "pay sux bro ggnore" which.. well, thanks, but that's useless info because it doesn't fit the scope of what I'm doing. The rock to that hard place is that without a large # of other workers opinions, I'm creating solutions for problems I face and not ones the community as a whole consider important.

    TL;DR: Working on it.

I've actually sent him 2 messages, the first letting him know I was submitting it without finishing it because I needed more time and that I'd contact him later, the second with links to the file and letting him know it was way underpaid, that it was going to take me around 10 hours total, and I had already put in 3 hours on it, and that I'd rather take the rejection than keep working for the abysmal rate. Haven't heard anything from him and I was working on it 12 hours before you....
