02/16 - Flippant Friday!

74 isn't that hot. It's almost 80 here, but we also got the cool breeze today. All the little shitty blue spring flowers are in bloom and everything, even though I was sure February still counted as winter.

 

considering it's still up, does anybody have that qual?

 

So is this a new fruit UNU? I see the qual says something about February, and I think I had the January one.

 

74 isn't bad here either (for outside) but my room has the sun beating down and no insulation and no air circulation. But really, when it's been in the 30s for the highs, and suddenly it's 74 (a few miles north of here was in the 80s yesterday), it sucks. Plus it was gale force winds. The changing air pressure made me sick. It really really sucked yesterday. This is my least favorite time of the year, when it's winter one minute and early summer the next.

Hey I finally got the results back from my christmas gift (one of those dna kit things), and it totally found a second cousin from my spanish family side that also ended up in america, same last name my spanish grandpa has and everything... my mom doesn't know this branch of the family.

My husband's aunt did hers, and found the son that her sister had given up for adoption 50 years before. They had the first family get together not that long ago but we couldn't make it.
