Well most of the reason that they suck less on my setup is my vertical monitor that is optimized for that sort of shit.

But yeah I could see most people noping out of those.

If you are a req and only want masters to do your hits, isn't that a sneaky way to get around it? Create your qual test to be for masters only, then use your own qual for the actual hits.
