Those tall skinny Italian Cypresses are good for keeping the sun off your house and they do well in hot climates. I have about 12 of them. Half are along the wall next to my pool so the water doesn't get too hot during the day and the other half are on the side of my house to block the early/midday sun.

Haha I know these feels! I swear my office was accidentally built as a convection oven.

I'm pretty sure its a rule that anything built longer than 5 years ago at any given time is somehow completely garbage according to new building science / ordinances / etc everywhere. And its a rolling timer so as soon as you fix something its only good for 5 years then good luck.

What the fork this is a thing? Whats it called? I use a ton of various herbicides/pesticides I didn't know I could just salt the fking earth.
