Hi. This isn't Mturk related at all, but has to do with a possible little other project. I wonder if anyone knows what kind of tools or methods it would take to download all posts from a LinkedIn page of posts from a link such as this: "https://www.linkedin.com/in/persons-name/detail/recent-activity/shares/"? Ideally it would download a delimited file or other text file from which I could grab each post's link, title, views, likes, number of comments and maybe more, but not the comments themselves. I thought maybe I could find an add-on, but no, or even maybe a Greasemonkey script for Facebook that I could modify for Linkedin, and I'm not getting anywhere w/ Google or Greasemonkey. Anyone know of something already out there?

If not, any hint of advice of what I could tell this person they should look for to get that job done? Do they need a Python programmer or ???

Sorry for posting this here, but I know a lot of the regulars here do quite a bit of scripting and programming and such! Perhaps someone already has an idea and can post a quick answer. Thanks!

Scraping linkedin pages has always been a massive headache for me. I'm afraid I wont be of much help to you.

 

I think I answered this question long before her. this time I will make it short; "cheers." If the polar bears are the same person, cheers, if they are not, cheers anyway. As long as you did not get any harm from any one the polar bears (not limited to two of them in here), cheers. Try to get a benefit from at least one of them, cheers.
