My cat's favorite sleeping spot is this little ledge above my front door. He can only get up to it when the door is open, because he climbs up the door and leaps up onto it. The problem is, although it's his favorite sleeping spot - he can't get down.

To get him down I have to take a cushion off the couch and hold it up above my head. He jumps onto the cushion and then I coast him down to the ground like a little magic carpet.

 

My cats just tend to sleep all around me so I am in a cat straight jacket at night.... Or the roof. They can only get down if the screen door is angled right or I get them down.

Porgy has figured out how to get down, because I move my giant makeup chest over for him. Holly on the other hand, not so graceful and 10x more neurotic. She refused to just jump. When I stood on top of my makeup chest to pick her up, she panicked and grabbed onto the hang glider and repeatedly tried to kick me.

I had half a mind to leave her up there and let her pee on it, because dammit Matthew.

Keep the cat he said, cats are so low maintenance compared to dogs! Cats are so inexpensive compared to dogs! Bearnie and porgy will cost less than Skeeter he said!

 

I feel like I'm going cray-cray. My picsfromabove ahk script is having problems switching between windows with alt-esc. It's always been fine, but now alt-esc doesn't select any windows on the last press.
Example (2 windows, first one selected)
1. alt-esc, second window selected
2. alt-esc, nothing selected
3. alt-esc, first window selected
4. alt-esc, second window selected
5. alt-esc, nothing selected
and so on....

I feel like there's something fucky going on here. It should just switch between the two windows, right? Or has my computer been magically doing that for the past year? Today is weird.

 

There was more to do this morning, my PE would be a single digit off the last few hours.

I'm guessing some requesters are caught in the path of the Nor'easter or the bad storms out west and they are done for the day.
