03/05 - Mythical Monday!

About requesting quals:
When I was trying to get the PFA qual a little bit ago I couldn't even find the HIT until I unchecked the "HITS I'm qualified for" box on the filter button.

 

You have to:

• Copy the link
• Go to a page on worker.mturk
• Press F12 in Chrome
• Type:
• Code:

  $.post('COPIEDLINKHERE');

• Hit Enter

Then that'll request the qual. I cannot send post requests from TH to mTurk w/o their permission, which for obvious reasons they wont give me, so you'd have to write a userscript that overwrote the behavior on TH to send a GM_xhr request which is capable of overriding CORS. I can put the behavior into TVJS probably but its gonna take a lot of double checking of sanity stuffs.

Pros:
Painless and quick, well paid for the time it took. Even though this has bubbles, they are the easy and short kind you can zip through and not the annoying 50 to a page variety.
Cons:
Writing - doesn't have to be a book, but is the kind several don't like
Think I likely got an extra page of questions, so this took me a tad longer, but still worth doing
