Hmm, my tier list (worst to best):

1. Denver - There is no reason to come here unless you just like blowing huge amounts of cash on drugs you'd be better off going to Mexico for
2. Truckee - No matter what we do, we still look & sound like a redneck vacation hotspot
3. Wyoming - Shucks folks we're just happy to be allowed on an Interwebstation connection!
4. Asheville - pretentious while being located in North Carolina, a true wonder of the vacation world
5. West Hollywood - OMG THERE IS A CELEBRITY 2 BLOCKS AWAY! Please come camp in the tent I threw in my back yard because I can't afford my mortgage but desperately need to live here in case one day that D-tier actor will hear me practicing my "art" in my front yard & totally cast me in their next Soap!
6. Anything in AZ - We need new organs to harvest to sacrifice to our desert Gods. We had a pool 5 years ago when we paid some construction company to build this place, the water in it has since evaporated but thankfully you can't see that in the pictures!
7. Anything in FL - You get to keep your kidney, but the bugs are going to eat you alive & there is a possibility the old couple who owns this 1970's never updated stunner will rip your cheeks off. 50/50, better odds than AZ.
8. Indio, CA - We set up a giant orgy in the desert so we could get away w/ the shirt Arizona pulls but blame it on your Peyote smoking ash to cover our tracks. You'll die happy which is a huge improvement on the previous 2.
9. Eagle County - the place you'd visit if you could afford to not go to Truckee.
10. Nashville - in the last 2 years we've completely burned this city to the ground & rebuilt the whole thing! We're the version of Asheville you'd actually want to visit: decent country music instead of mountain men w/ mash jugs, good food, structures that could survive you sneezing from the pollen, & all the same sights/beauty of nature.
11. Everywhere else, CA - Weather, food, whatever else you'd want on a vacation can be had / found / delivered without having to step foot in Denver or Mexico (uber will get it for you).
12. Charleston, SC - Ghost tours, homie. 'nuff said.

 

yeah, eddb is essential for hauling. i guess they are putting it in game, but who knows when. exploration is pretty fun and as long as you set your destination using the map in game and only select stars that you can scoop fuel from, its pretty easy

 

it takes a lot to get into it for sure. if you ever wanna get down, let me know some weekend. i'll take you out and show you around.
