Oh for sure. The dude is not only a scumbag but he's a dumb scumbag.

I want / hope that this current movement, or whatever it is, results in some actual change and think that there's a risk of getting lost in the weeds with more minor instances. In other words I'd rather focus on bringing awareness to some horrible shit that happens to women everywhere and how common it is. Ways to combat it and how the justice system can possibly respond to crimes like rape that it isn't equipped to deal with and honestly there aren't good solutions for.

Once we actually address issues like that, then hopefully we can move on to people not getting gropped at a party.

I just found one that has 20 minutes left on ebay with the bid at $40 but even that is way too much

 

there are some people that i'm 100% blind to and they might as well be an automaton because i am always so far into the "it doesn't matter what age/gender/race this person is" mindset.

then there are some people that would blow my mind to break the persona they are in my head. badger, for example. she acts and talks like she's our ageish, but iirc she's never actually said anything publicly to indicate her age (besides the fact that she still gets her period lol). i also don't think she's said anything regarding race, but i know she has long, thick (curly?) hair and spells things the british/canadian way? contextual clues crafted a very specific vision of her in my head, but she could very well be a 50 year old papua new guinean who's hip on internetisms and pop culture for all i know. i've talked to her plenty, but no matter how insanely curious i am about the people here, i respect people enough to not pry into personal identities. but you already know that, mr. faison.
