I noticed a large number of men wearing shirts with hunting stuff or guns or flags of various sorts on them, I'm assuming hoping to show bias... but it ended up being a civil case about a car-tractor accident.

I went in with The Stand to read... and it was a bad choice, with all the people sneezing and coughing. I just knew Captain Tripps was coming for me. I'm expecting nightmares tonight.

I almost always turned down fence jobs....such a nightmare with the "who pays" and "who get the good side of the fence"

 

You must live in a larger area than I do.

When I went the other week it was a total of 40 of us. There were 13 in the jury box and the rest of us were sitting in the rows of the court room. The judge and attorneys asked the questions of all of us. "have any of you ever been arrested? Raise your hand if you have" type of questions. Then they got more direct about things that could pertain to the case but still asked everyone the questions by having us raise our hand.

Still wish I would have gotten picked Got paid $100 for the two days there and mileage reimbursement at least
