    SMASHED CAR UPDATE:

    So the tree my innocent little car was smashed by was still covered by a policy that belonged to someone who is recently deceased and nothing had been moved to the new owner's policy yet, so in lieu of that headache my insurance was like "eh don't worry we'll pay for everything, waive the deductible, and not put points on your coverage"
