Quick! I need some suggestions for a good book.

I have been hypnotized into going to the desert without any internet and where I will spend 1.5 days twiddling my thumbs while Matt faffs around doing whatever the hell it is he does with his bros. Figured I should pick up a few books and a bottle of bubbles so I don't punch myself in the face from boredom...and my extreme hatred for camping...camping in the friggen desert with both our dogs...someone just kill me. Well, my doggo didn't end up in Japan, but I got to Charlotte and he was not there. He would normally sit next to me on flights, but it was super packed and someone was throwing a fit over dog allergies or whatever. I checked my service pupper and they sent him to the wrong place.The ways I was pissed off.
