We do bottled water here because there's a LOT of farm runoff, and we get boil orders at least monthly... but the only way you find out about them is if you're listening to the very local (Christian) radio station, or you see the signs at the front of town. But we are only here in town, or travel the back way out of town, and we can have a boil order for days before we see it. We have friends that remember to notify us now and then, so we can at least brush with bottled water. I want to get a Big Berkey, but we haven't been able to find out if it will filter out all of the chemicals that we have to deal with here.
