Happens from time to time. They must have taken down everything for a minute though because even checking the heath status page got that message.

I got back into my queue but when I opened the next HIT, I got the message again.

 

Amazon cares too much about harvesting nickels to let it go down for that long.

No. And when the switchover happened, there were two sites running simultaneously for over a year. They shuttered the one and the other remained up.

 

I remember this has happened once a few years ago. It only lasted for about 20 minutes. Time to take a break.
