My college days are well behind me. But I knew plenty of thirsty college girls back in the day. Today's version must be less demanding moneywise. I mean, I've been thinking about it for the last year or so anyway, because at this point, if I wanted to wear contacts most of the time, it would run me 80 bucks a month before tax. Even with vision insurance, it's still running me $$$. I only wear contacts like twice a week because of this. It cost me 129 for my glasses altogether with my insurance (Scaled is the best, they really have excellent insurance and we don't even pay a premium for it), but I only get a discount on the contact exam and then those are just so expensive. On the other hand, my insurance now haggles the price down for Lasik a good bit and we get a 20% discount from a bunch of places from the original sorta parent company of Scaled. At that rate, Lasik would easily pay itself off after a few years and I'm looking at like 25-35 years before my vision re-craps out. It just sucks to shell out a few grand out of pocket, but I'm already wearing Matt down into letting me use the joint account for it in the future hopefully

He hates glasses, hates them, and for some reason just did not comprehend how expensive glasses/contacts were until he saw the preinsurance bill for my glasses (which was 570, vomit).

In the meantime, I'm also weasling my way into maybe getting an apple watch that is on my cell plan for my birthday, or just because I'm fabulous or whatever, because everything I have is rose gold and I can be matchy matchy all the time, even when I'm working out
