    The only thing that would make sense is that the more approved hits that you have and some other factors the more 'tickets' into the masters lottery that you get.

    my guess and @Randomacts is the leaving intern marked the 'select' every two months, but forgot to hit "grant" too....then new intern dust off the old windows 97 clunk and fix it

    The masters granting system broke a bit after I started turking. That is why they handed out a huge amount of masters all at once when I got mine including @ChrisTurk and and loads of other people.

    Now I don't think that it is broken currently as we have been hearing about people getting masters.
