    I second the Instant Pot! Love mine! If you get him one, make sure you get an extra set of silicone sealing rings cause they tend to retain smell/taste. I have colored ones so I can tell which ones to use for savory and sweet dishes.

    They're free this week. The caveat is they're square instead of round and the crust isn't as good.

    @happathy I had an issue with PC that seems to come back only when I've already forgot the solution but this time I wrote it down in a text document.
    So, when some unrelated issue happens to PC and I have to reinstall it if I am at work the block they have set up their makes it where it cant do the first time set-up so it defaults to the "no hits are available right now" page but when I give it free reign with my tethered phone or VPN it can access whatever servers it needs to for things like default alarms and such. It's a long shot but thats all I can think of.

    I saw instant pot, I had to chime in. Love mine to death. Just made a whole roasted chicken in about an hour, without heating up my entire kitchen and leaving my oven free for kugel and apricot chicken.

    Haven't headed into the sweet territory yet....don't tempt me, I"m supposed to be back on my diet tomorrow

    Some of you people have no idea how lucky you are having some of these decisions!
    I would so love to have mushrooms on pizza (and buttered mushrooms on steak for that matter),
    but they're the one thing in the world to which I'm allergic. Badly. I found this out on my first date as a
    young teenager, when the 'love of my life' convinced me to eat them, even though I'd never had any
    desire to do so before. It took about 45 seconds before we had a scene from 'The Exorcist'. :afraid:

    That gif turned my laptop into a cooktop whenever the page refreshed, so I edited to delete it.

    I recently cooked for 100 people. Two multiple course meals with separate vegan options. And they want me to do it again for Friday night.
