04/02 - 'Membering Monday

I just bought a shitty 8 foot folding table from a hardware store it can fit my Air540 Case with enough room for 3 27" monitors, best decision I've made in awhile. Now if only hardware stores would provide a cheap option for office chairs.

I just bugged him with the idea of buying a bigger desk or throwing together a shitty one, and then showed him a bunch of shit on pinterest about reclaimed wood desks...and next thing he knew, he was hauling an old barn door across the farm to make into a desk. poor Matt.

I fully bought my widescreen monitor before I had the space for it, and put it on a shitty little end table and just banked on him crumbling to my demands. 5/5 can recommend.

I like the idea of a curved desk- right now I have a desk and a table alongside at a right angle. Have my 2 monitors on it and my XP is set up on the desk with monitor, lotion, old pizza, pens, pipe, tissues- all the important stuff. I have another Win 7 I could put there or my lap top, but I love XP cause I know it like the back of my hand. But, I have to totally turn away from my mTurk set up to work on it, so that would be a hassle as another work station. (Can no longer work on mTurk with the XP- too outdated for stuff)

 

I am going to have to work like a dog this week cause I am only at like 10.00 so far for the week.

 

Go to bed now, good hits are dropping in around 7-ish hours.

 

Does anyone have a script that gets PC to march this gif across my screen every time I get an AWS hit?
