I asked /r/ios for help finding a replacement to soundwire on iOS besides the $30 app.

I emailed the soundwire dev about it saying that they prob would have a decent chance of making money due to the lack of apps doing that and they sent this in response.

"Thanks for the message, [Redacted]. Unfortunately we have good evidence that SoundWire would be rejected by Apple. Here's a story from the company you mentioned. They had their app deleted by Apple with no clear reason revealed when they added features similar to SoundWire. I'm not sure what the status of their app is now, but my understanding is that they had to remove the offending features to get their app reinstated.
