    That makes it worth it to me. I really dislike Big Mom, and she only gets worse as the arc goes on. I like how Oda has clearly been watching/reading Game of Thrones, though. I find that hilarious.

    Nah. I remember reading somewhere that Oda gave Luffy such a silly super power because he wanted the audience to never, ever take One Piece too seriously because it's still just a shounen manga. Naruto and Bleach both made the mistake of going serious, but One Piece is like 900 chapters going strong on good and goofy fun. Have you seen the mochi man yet?
