I owned a record store in the French Quarter and one in Metairie in 1992-3 we just sold import records for DJ's - It's really hard ordering what you think people might buy and then having a lot of stuff that never sells. But , Anyway the labels are actually going back to putting out vinyl and they even made anew model of the DJ's default turntable the Technics 1200/1210 - The new one costs over $2000 so they are positively mental. But, jazz purists and other high end turntable freaks - like my psychiatrist will spend over 15,000 for a decent tonearm and motor. Vinyl really does sound better IMHO. It has a beefier sound
