    Morning. My old HP is on its last legs. I have about 600 saved for a new laptop. Can't have desktop with DD. I have been researching for awhile and know I want SSD if I can. Does anyone have some suggestions in that range. Use mainly for Turk and occasional movie. Need to buy online since I live by downtown KCMO and not that many stores close.

    Like @Randomacts said, chromebooks could be an option. A lower cost windows laptop may be easier to get scripts and such to play nice. I always suggest people check out https://www.reddit.com/r/SuggestALaptop/. Just browse around there to get an idea of what's out currently, or make a post following their post guidelines. It seems to be a mostly helpful subreddit and people ask questions about all sorts of laptops from super-budget to $$$.
