I don't know if they still make it, but I used to play the shit out of Baseball Mogul.

I liked to start with the 1977 Blue Jays and go from there. There was a funny little glitch in the game though, they would "randomize" the ratings for prospects, but even if they rated a guy like Griffey poorly, if you picked him and put him in the minors, he would magically still become a superstar.

I would play so many years, I would end up with all fictional players. I would get pretty into it, I had this pitcher named Sean Tutt, who refused to retire as long as I kept signing him to 1 year deals. He was still on my team as a 50 year old, and I called him King Tutt. He ended up with more wins than Cy Young, lol
