It always weirded me out to see a bunch of grown men so into what is ultimately a show for 8 year old girls. It's not that bad as a kid's show, but it's not something worth obsessing over as an adult. Besides, everyone knows Problem Solverz was the better show and should've caught on instead.

Yeah, some people got WAY too into it. I played up my involvement a little, but some of my friends were like, insanely into it. Like, going to conventions dressed up like ponies and crap.

I looked at it as: It gained traction from some people because it was cute and had an interesting plotline unlike some kids shows out there (looking at you Caillou you weird dream sequence jerk). Then, as it gained traction, it allowed men (specifically) to have an outlet for their more feminine side, which doesn't happen too often. Then, people took that like, 4 steps too far.

 

Gotta dance yourself clean after seeing dem furries.
