So my MAD Labs the past few days have been about laptops... do people actually pay these unreal amounts for this crap? I got my gaming rig for $850 when Fallout 4 came out and it's still fairly top of the line if not better in some aspects. Do people really want 128GB hard drives? I have 4TB in mine and it's full...

 

Regarding the qual for validation. People can obtain the qual for validation by first getting the sentence writing qual, then get promoted to senior writer. Since we're wrapping up the data collection soon we're not planning to release more qual. The qual is difficult and time consuming(takes 30min+) and it might not be worth it for people to take it at this stage. If the HIT keeps going out at this rate I will consider releasing another qual on top of the current one that contains some question related to validation and I will let everyone know if that happens.

Yes. Most prebuilts rely on the consumer knowing jack all shit about building PCs or shopping around to get the best bang for their buck. This is why garbage like Alienware and your average Macbook are so overpriced.

 

128SSD not HDD lmao people aren't crazy

 

The build quality on the recent alienwares is at least decent unlike the latest mac products.

 

But Alienware is so pretty

 

No forreals like video game installs are somewhere around like 30-40GB for AAA titles. Why buy a gaming laptop if you can only have like 3 games installed?

 

Stick some LEDs in your case if you want. Slap some stickers and glitter paint on it too. It'll still be cheaper than a prebuilt.

That is the OS drive most of the time then you just have a larger spinning rust HDD.

Personally I have a 500GB SSD and then 27TB of HDD space.

 

One of my fans glows, that's all I need. I haven't had a prebuilt in years. But the Alienware ones always look awesome. Until you read the stats & reviews.

 

Or just one game if you happen to play TESO.

 

OH that is completely different, but on these MAD Lab linked ones, I don't see a HDD listed. Just lists the SSD.
