    Yeah apologies for all the confusion. again it's somewhat hard to explain what I'm looking for and I'm working on a better qual task that has more examples + explanation. Once I do that then I'm happy to open it up to people who didn't pass the first time :)

    Also yeah, I know it's hard for me to say but try not to feel bad if you didn't get a bonus... I have a loose signal about whether you're doing a good job, but I admit that it's not perfect. I tried to make it scale with the # of hits done because I don't want y'all to feel like you have to skip HITs that seem more difficult to answer... to me that seem to wastes everyone's time.

    sorry, was just done with processing a single batch of 10k, so if you did the 800 super recently then that wouldn't have gone into the calculation I'm afraid.

    Just wanted to say specifically, since you're here and might have missed it, we really appreciate the fact that you recognize this is a subjective HIT and you're not rejecting people who didn't quite get it.     Yeah I'm going to try to fix the qual task to make this clearer, but essentially if you can piece together the meaning of the semi-broken english (even if that meaning is completely ridiculous, like a gymnast jumping on a swimming pool roof) then to me that's not 'gibberish.'

    Not specific to him, but anytime I've done a qual test and been right on the border in many cases a quick message showing an understanding of why you failed by a hair can get your scored bumped up enough to give the tasks a go. Just sayin' :dunno: At that point it goes from 'test' to 'training material' and the ultimate purpose is served: worker can do HITs how the Requester wants 'em done, everyone is happy.
