I can't, but I still do them in short spurts since it still adds up over a long peroid. The jumbled sentences are too hard on my adhd brain. I keep having to re-read the sentence over and over when it doesn't make sense or has a lot of errors. Then I get tired fast

 

The other day did you sign up for a time to do a Social Innovations game? They send an email. You then make predictions and can change it several times based on how others answered.

Sometimes i see HITs labeled as makeup HITs, and question whether I should do them because I don't wear makeup, but then I decide - hey maybe they allow men to do them even though they're about makeup. So then I grab the HIT and realize that - yeah it's not a hit about makeup, it's a makeup HIT and it's definitely not for me.

 

They're about 10 dollars an hour any way you slice it. Decent filler, not the craziness everyone makes it out to be.

Well I just found $50 hanging out in my Prolific account that I guess I forgot about.

 

Amazon Trade In drama of the day


I put an Amazon Trade In order late night on Monday. The next day as I was checking the stuff to have it shipped out I noticed that I marked a Kindle Paperwhite instead of a Fire HD 6, which is what I’ve. At this point Amazon has already credited a $25 gift card. I went ahead and contacted an Amazon representative and I was pretty much told they had no idea what to do and she’ll forwarded the case to someone. I was not told a time frame or what to do meanwhile, so I kept the thing.


I obviously didn’t hear shit back, so Chat #2. This guy told me they wouldn’t take the Fire HD 6 (side note, they only accept HD 7 and newer right now, and an assorted variety of Paperwhite. If anyone was thinking to trade-in right now for the 25% off your next Kindle promotion), and I’ll be charged the value of the gift card. Yay answers. So I go ahead and cancel the trade in. Then I go check the cancellation and the ONE card that I don’t have access to, cause it is my brother’s girlfriend who lives 7 hrs away, is the one that get charged ofc. I frantically delete the card from the account and try to profusely apologize for the mess to her. She is not answering cause she’s at work, that’s okay and expected. In my frenzy, I decided to contact Amazon AGAIN.


Chat #3, I told pretty much all the above to the guy and he said that they’ll refund the card, but they needed to have it in my account while it processed. After spamming the my bro’s girlfriend through all sorts of social media, text, and phone calls (I’ll probably not be invited to the wedding now XD) I called it quits and told the guy the card wasn’t available atm. He said to reach back when I had the info with me and the next rep would do it. End of chat 3.


I went to shower and hit a wall meanwhile. The gf answered back with what I needed while I was doing so.


Onto Chat #4, the guy looked over Chat #3. Asked me some questions, asked me to put back the card on the account while the refund was processed, and got me sorted out. End of Chat 4.


At this point, I’m waiting for the girlfriend to confirm the refund went through and I think I got a free $25 gift card

 

I think that's the problem. My brain isn't fast enough to make them $10/hr. Probably barely $6/hr at my pace.
