I'm more bummed that people don't understand how to ask a nested yes/no for 20 questions.

Is it a building or a room in a building or a gas or a person?

Also, there should be a "more abstract" and "different scale" response, otherwise fish and fish farm would have the same set of yes/no query responses.

This is so insightful; I just wanted to quote it and point it out!

I initially just focused the first radio button set, which shaved off a few seconds. Then, I did keybinds to get past needing to tab and arrow about.

Finally, I got to the point of just making it so I was only reading a single thing. I suck at focusing, so seeing all the questions slowed me down, as I'd end up loosing my place. Removing that, made it so I could easily do these in 20-30s. At worst, they're $18/hr. I'll add, that's actually reading them, and sometimes having to think about them.

I've found a lot of the times that there are proper English sentences, but only two (many times) that actually perfectly fit the situation. Like, talk about water, and two mention kayaks, or someone talks about a rope, and a rope features in two grammatically correct sentences. For gibberish, I ignore slight grammar problems, but if there are what seem like three completely unrelated sentences happening in one, it's an instant fail. It gets a bit easier, and at 20k up, there's plenty of space at the trough for everyone.

All that said, no matter what you do, they're brain numbing, and I applaud anyone who manages to more than 200 and still remain sane. Everyone else sees the six foot tall rabbit, right? That's not just me?

Nice - a requester sent me a bonus of $0.30 because I contacted them to let them know about a typo in their HIT.

I don't do 'em so I can't say if any approach is better but I did write a script for 'em & I have the same problem on text hits.. I just duplicated the sentence for each line. Idk why but parsing text HITs on multiple lines blows my mind into pieces & I experience this same thing lol.

Personally I kept the bolding on the beginning sentence.. I tried reversing it (figuring it made more sense to highlight the part being judged) but didn't like the way it looked, but YMMV for anyone fiddling w/ them - lots of different ways to approach the same problem :)

I take about 20 to 25s for the Rowan hits unless My Little Pony sucks me in and then it's closer to 40s because I get distracted lol. I love that they're easy for me to do on my phone and would be a nice batch to do Saturday's when I'm stuck sitting outside for five hours at my job lol

I'm doing about 100 HITs per hour. I'm taking frequent breaks because they do require a lot of focus if you want to make a decent hourly. I've done 705 so far today. I'd like to do a thousand then stop for the day.

So, a cop car just pulled up to my apartment, stopped his car for like 10 seconds next to my jeep, and then slowly drove off.

I think that was the cops "checking out," my "illegal parking," and deciding it was, in fact, not a problem.

Wrong. They are going to get back up because they know that anyone who parks illegal is obviously a menace to society.

Was talking to @THFYM the other week about music, and long story short, realized I was about 3 In Flame albums behind. (The cover of Hurt and Down in a Hole are just wonderful!). Also, he turned me on to While She Sleeps. That, combined with a random Russian "driving mix" of EDM, and a Susanna Hoffs concert from PA in '88, and I've got me some focus mix.

But I still haven't even come close to what you've done. Great job mate. Props for the work ethic and the grind.

It's true. I park facing the wrong way in my own assigned space like some sort of crazed lunatic and I can't be stopped. NAY! I WON'T BE!

They'll never take me alive! :emoji_smiling_imp:
