Oh yeah, if you have leftover that you know you don't want to drink straight, combine some juice and you're good to go. If I do that I'm closer to a 60/40 than 80/20 like @Hummingbirdee . Maybe it's even 70/30. I use orange juice and something about the consistency allows for you to fill the cup with like 70% sparkling water or seltzer and pour the juice in without it rising much, and I basically just make sure the color turns to a light orange. So whatever that amount would be. It's very good that way.

But yeah, if you're trying to get off soda, I recommend sparkling water. Look for your store brand's version and try that, stores near me have them mostly in 33.8 oz sizes. And definitely try ones that have non-sugar sweetners, that might be one of the reasons you don't like the taste of the ones you've tried so far. The ones that have no sweetners and just a splash of whatever "essence" taste like straight seltzer more often than not in my experience. And personally, that wouldn't have gotten me off of soda. And technically, this got me off of both soda and juice, since that's better, but I shouldn't have been drinking as much as I was.

Thanks! I think you're right about the non sugar ones. They just taste unpleasant. I'll try to find some with stevia or something similar.

 

It could also be the opposite. Fake sugar gives me a migraine and the taste just turns me off.

But, to each their own and all that jazz!

Polar makes some of my favorite seltzers, along with Arrowhead and Perrier.

I won't turn down La Croix, but it's not my OTS (one true setlzer).

Lord help the person who tries to get in between me and a case of watermelon perrier tho. I will full on cut you.
