Pros:
first of all, this is a very abnormal HIT and probably breaks all sorts of TOS. BUT, this is a very common requester that i've worked for in the past, and i know her to be trustworthy.

the time depends on how long it takes you to 1. redeem a gift card, 2. purchase a book 3. receive the book (i chose kindle, but the timer allowed for physical delivery if that's your thing), 4. read a chapter 5. provide a few written responses based on the chapter. i got wordy in my responses because it was a very generous HIT and deserved generous feedback.

the HIT is a survey link to provide your email address so the requester can send a gift card to you. the gift card covers any version of the book so it's almost a bonus depending on your choice. she emailed me the gift card within an hour or so with another link for the actual survey, then followed up with further instructions to avoid confusion.

it was all very, very simple, and actually pretty awesome. the book is actually really interesting and i plan on finishing it.

What's truly funny is that Matt hid his Dad from me for a long time (like 2 years) thinking his dad would be the problem...only for his Mom to be the difficult one. I think it's cause his Dad is the type of "off the grid," gibberish talking, predictable crazy a-hole that I can shrug off (who for some reason vaguely likes me as much as he can like any "ginger yankee dwarf") whereas his mom is well, we all know how fun she is.
