    I go by Birdie in my day to day, so my go to explanation when someone is confused about my name is, "LIKE THE FIRST LADY!"

    Of course, some people still don't get that and I end up saying, "BIRDIE...LIKE A BIRD!" and then I flap my arms to really send the point home.
